Latinx Affinity Group-Dr. Sandra Chapman

The best part of entering my affinity space is the mix of Latin music playing and the warm hugs and greetings offered by the facilitators. Coming into the space is like seeing familia. You give the bendición to your elders and welcome the newest members. 

Today one of our facilitators grifted us with a spoken word about his abuela (grandmother). It was a most wonderful mid-afternoon wake up to culture, language, affirmation, self, and values.
